Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and components according to technical specifications and standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on existing electrical infrastructures.
• Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and resolve them efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine electrical layout and requirements.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely completion of electrical work.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices.
• Maintain updated and accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure safe working conditions by adhering to company safety protocols and PPE policies.
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues to prevent downtimes and ensure safety.
• Order electrical components, tools, and supplies as needed to maintain inventory.
• Participate in technical training and development opportunities to enhance skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
• Valid electrician certification or license required as per state regulations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an electrician role or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment usage.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
