We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and handling electrical systems, repairing electrical components, and ensuring all electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical problems, performing preventive maintenance, and installing new electrical equipment. You will have the opportunity to work on both residential and commercial projects, allowing you to showcase your expertise across a range of technical challenges. Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with a commitment to safety and quality, are a must for this role. You will work alongside other skilled tradespeople, so effective communication and teamwork are also essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures following codes.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using testing devices to identify root causes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using various testing devices.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring and equipment.
• Perform general electrical maintenance and detailed troubleshooting tasks.
• Ensure compliance with state and local building regulations while executing installations.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Provide proactive recommendations for enhancing electrical systems' safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role for at least three years.
• Valid state electrician’s license and certification as required by regulations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret complex diagrams and technical documentation.
• High degree of precision and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively.
