Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings.
• Diagnose electrical issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime for operations.
• Inspect electrical systems, components, and wiring to identify hazards and defects.
• Repair and replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Plan and execute tasks to ensure alignment with engineering codes and standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless repair and maintenance processes.
• Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics for proper installation procedures.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other equipment.
• Ensure compliance with national and local safety building regulations.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform unscheduled repairs when necessary.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on-site.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a professional electrician.
• Valid electrician license and certification to perform electrical work.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and diagnosing electrical problems.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and technical blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined and tall spaces.
