Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams to plan layouts for new installations.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers on complex projects.
• Provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades to electrical systems.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports for completed projects.
• Manage and maintain inventory of electrical supplies and materials.
• Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians for skill development.
• Ensure all work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and conduct repairs as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training preferred.
• Valid electrician license with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using electrical tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Physical ability to perform challenging and labor-intensive tasks.
