Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical equipment to ensure their proper functioning.
• Diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot electrical systems to resolve issues efficiently.
• Repair and replace faulty parts and fixtures in electrical systems and equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings and facilities.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers on complex projects and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding electrical safety and maintenance.
• Document repairs, maintenance tasks, and testing activities accurately and comprehensively.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and apprentices as necessary.
• Inspect electrical components and systems, identifying risks and hazards promptly.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for electrical work proficiently and safely.
• Participate in training sessions to keep abreast of new electrical systems and technologies.
• Assist in the development of maintenance strategies and schedules for electrical systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in electrical technology is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical repair and maintenance roles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and regulations is essential.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid electrician’s license and certifications as required by local regulations.
