We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician (code: 14J25) to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the development and upkeep of our electrical infrastructure, working closely with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components for necessary repairs.
• Ensure electrical work complies with company and industry safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop improvements to existing systems.
• Maintain records of equipment and scheduled maintenance tasks accurately.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment and systems for faults.
• Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Provide technical support to other departments as needed for project success.
• Advise management on whether the continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Install and maintain wiring and lighting systems in compliance with regulations.
• Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices on technical tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical degree preferred in electrical engineering.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment essential for the job.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
• Good understanding of electrical safety regulations and codes of practice.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
