We are currently seeking a Electrical Supervisor , reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

Position Overview
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities at the project site. The role ensures that electrical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities 1. Site Supervision & Execution
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical construction activities including installation, termination, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure timely completion in line with project schedules.
- Allocate tasks to electricians and subcontractors and monitor productivity.
2. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company, client, and statutory HSSE regulations at all times.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices on site.
- Identify and report safety hazards, non‑conformances, and incidents.
- Enforce permit‑to‑work systems and lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) procedures.
3. Quality Control
- Inspect electrical installations for quality and compliance before inspections.
- Coordinate inspections with Quality and Client Representatives.
- Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and documentation of electrical systems.
- Support snagging, punch list closure, and as‑built documentation.
4. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC, planning, procurement, and other trades to avoid clashes and delays.
- Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to ensure availability of manpower, materials, and tools.
- Report daily progress, manpower, and issues to the Electrical Manager.
5. Materials & Tools Management
- Verify availability of approved materials as per drawings and specifications.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of electrical materials.
- Identify material shortages and raise requisitions in advance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in electrical supervision, preferably in oil & gas, EPC, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, cable trays, lighting, earthing, grounding, panels, and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC, and project specifications.
Key Competencies
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Good understanding of electrical drawings and schematic diagrams.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage site activities efficiently.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on ADNOC or Middle East oil & gas projects.
- Knowledge of electrical testing instruments and commissioning activities.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting, daily logs).
