Job Description

An Electrical Supervisor is a pivotal role in ensuring that all electrical tasks are executed efficiently and safely at a job site or within an organization. This position involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems to prevent any hazards or operational disruptions. Responsibilities

  • Train and mentor junior technicians and electrical staff effectively and efficiently.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress, including any delays or issues.
  • Monitor inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment for electrical projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and implement new electrical systems.
  • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and troubleshoot faults quickly.
  • Review electrical designs and plans to ensure feasibility and compliance.
  • Implement cost-effective solutions and measures to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar role in the industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, operations, and systems management.
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee staff effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and legal compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset and approach.
  • Possess a relevant diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
