Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical qualifications preferred.
• Prior experience as an electrician or in a related electrical field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of national and local electrical codes and standards.
• Strong analytical skills to identify potential electrical safety issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with contractors and the public.
• Ability to keep up-to-date with changes in electrical safety laws and technology.
• Certification as a Licensed Electrical Inspector is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and inspection tools and equipment.
