Electrical Foreman

Role Purpose

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical works on infrastructure projects, ensuring that activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and programme requirements. The role provides direct leadership to site operatives and subcontractors.

· Supervise day-to-day electrical works on site in line with approved drawings and method statements

· Allocate tasks to electricians and ensure productivity targets are met

· Coordinate with Site Engineers, other foremen, and subcontractors to avoid clashes

· Ensure electrical works comply with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements

· Monitor quality of workmanship and carry out first-line inspections

· Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements and toolbox talks

· Identify material, manpower, and equipment needs and report shortages

· Support testing, commissioning, and inspections with consultants and authorities

· Maintain daily work records, progress reports, and attendance logs

· Report site issues, delays, or safety concerns to site management

· Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

· Relevant trade certification preferred

· 5–10 years’ experience in electrical works within infrastructure or construction projects

· Prior experience in a Foreman or Supervisory role

· UAE or GCC infrastructure experience preferred

· Experience with utilities, street lighting, substations, or pumping stations is an advantage
