As an Electrical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing of electrical equipment, systems, or components. Your job will involve detailed electrical design work and will require a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles as well as innovative thinking to design and implement solutions. This role demands attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to work closely with other engineers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality and compliance with engineering standards. Whether it's designing power systems, working on electrical schematics, or developing new electrical products, your expertise in the field of electrical engineering will be crucial in advancing technology and solving complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems or components based on engineering principles and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical and engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for electrical components.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for new projects or enhancements to existing projects.
• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment on-site.
• Implement sustainability measures in all electrical system designs to promote energy efficiency.
• Ensure that all electrical engineering projects comply with applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and engineering disciplines.
• Innovate and research new methods and technologies to improve existing products and solutions.
• Monitor the progress of various projects and report to senior management regarding status and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a similar role.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, MATLAB, and other engineering software applications.
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and regulations applicable to the industry.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration purposes.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards obtaining it is preferred.
