Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical design plans using industry-standard software and methodologies.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to integrate electrical designs into overall project layouts.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations in all designs.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and ensure design feasibility.
• Prepare project specifications and technical drawings for electrical systems.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure electrical design timelines align with project schedules.
• Offer technical support and guidance during the installation and inspection phases of projects.
• Identify and resolve potential design challenges and present solutions to project stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and innovation in electrical systems design.
• Participate in project review meetings to discuss design progress and address any issues.
• Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates related to electrical components and systems.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior designers and interns when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years' experience in electrical design or a related role.
• Proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and 3D modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards, including NEC and ISO regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management software and electrical simulation tools is a plus.
