Job Summary

To be a key, research producing member of the Market Insights & Strategy team within the Global Markets division of FAB. Successful candidate will work as an integral part of the team in providing internal stakeholders, senior management, and clients with regular, timely and value-accretive insights and analysis across the team’s stated areas of coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce research as a key member of the Market Insights & Strategy team within FAB’s Global Markets division, providing internal stakeholders, senior management, and clients with regular, timely, and value-accretive insights and analysis across the team’s stated areas of coverage.
• Track broader macroeconomic and credit events to maintain house views on markets and keep stakeholders updated on global and local economic developments.
• Serve as a key point of contact within the team by maintaining up-to-date expertise and providing stakeholders with requested information and analysis.
• Enhance the output and visibility of the Market Insights & Strategy team both internally and externally.
• Produce published reports for direct distribution to clients and publication on the Market Insights section of the corporate website.
• Develop the quality of reports published by the Market Insights team and enhance distribution channels to increase reach.
• Train and mentor junior analysts.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership within Global Markets on strategy and transformation projects.
• Prepare strategic pitchbooks and presentations for sales and relationship managers to support FAB’s brand-building and “go-to bank” strategy.
  
  

• Minimum of 10 years of experience required with in-depth knowledge of regional geopolitics and Asian macroeconomics in global financial markets.
• Extensive experience in writing client-facing reports and presentations
• Proven track record in terms of knowledge and expertise in GCC risk markets and geopolitics / oil
• Creative thinker in terms of how to construct, narrate, and present key themes and topics to key stakeholders, senior management, and clients.
