Job Purpose
To help drive, structure and implement innovative and complex treasury solutions for FAB clients across UAE and international locations. This role will support in commercialising and implementing existing and new client propositions for treasury centralisation. The individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects and ensuring that there is proper governance, timely roll-out and client satisfaction. Roll out the FAB TMS among other solutions across clients in UAE and GCC.
The individual with industry experience will support the WBG and IB business and will also contribute to business opportunities with direct P&L growth accountabilities. The role would encompass priorities around business and treasury transformation leveraging the existing transaction banking products and services while evaluating opportunities to work with the product partners, TMS providers and external consultants. In addition to that they need to provide support to the team for P&L growth in terms of total revenue by focussing on account balances and work closely with Channels, Operations and Technology towards implementing working capital and treasury centralisation solutions for the clients.
Key Accountabilities
Provide strategic advisory & consulting services to WBG and IB Clients on optimising their treasury functions, setting up Global/Regional Treasury Centres and In-House Banks across FAB’s footprint
Should be able to structure and implement solutions around centralisation of treasury activities, recommend suitable treasury models and work with stakeholders to re-engineer treasury and finance operations
Development & delivery of treasury management solutions, the individual should be able to effectively manage credit/market/operational/reputational risk to create a strong risk culture. Implement robust security, control framework, and create efficiencies, reduce costs for FAB and our Clients.
Participate in consultative selling and requirement analysis with large clients, understand their technology journey, prepare, respond and evaluate RFPs for complex TMS capabilities while drawing subject matter expertise across Trade Finance, FX, ERP systems.
Selling of the FAB white label TMS to existing and new clients of the bank. Helping them assess the need for the TMS and how it could create efficiency within their organisation. Should know the workings of the TMS inside out to ensure the clients that the value add which they bring
Ability to tie in the balance sheet management with the advice which is provided to the clients and integrate the treasury advisory and the TMS propositions
Work closely with TMS Providers and Fintechs to design and build innovative treasury management solutions using their own strong knowledge of the market and landscape globally
Provide guidance and support to Solutions & Advisory teams for promoting the relevant products
Represent and support the bank in driving Treasury Consultancy proposition in alignment with the banks overall strategy and goals
To perform other activities as appropriate assigned from time to time by Head of GTx Next Gen Propositions
Support clients large, complex treasury advisory projects in planning & defining project activities, milestones, dependencies and resources for treasury centralisation and TMS projects
Define project governance structure, ensuring the right FAB & client stakeholder engagement for steering committee, working committees are in place with proper documentation and follow-up
Prepare high level milestone delivery plan and implementation methodology for new & existing treasury advisory projects for clients and internal product capability building projects, incorporating project management best practices and lessons learned from previous implementations
Prepare and present at steering committee, working group sessions which would comprise of stakeholders across different seniority at the clients and banks end
Identify, assign and monitor project risks, ensure the risks are mitigated and escalate concerns to the relevant stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved as per the design and time frame
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to create an optimal solution for the client which meets its requirements, ease of implementation and can bring in revenue for the bank quicker
Participate, prepare, respond and evaluate RFPs for complex TMS capabilities from project management perspective, suggest agile / waterfall methodology depending on client delivery approach and / or nature of treasury requirements
Supervise and/ or perform all tasks necessary to support all products and services within the Treasury Management product portfolio, including assisting with the development of new products and services as needed
Engage with proprietary digital channels, SWIFT and Cloud based platforms and solutions to determine ways of rationalising client touch points related to treasury management solutions are in line with the competition/market/client expectations
Evaluate and recommend new ideas and solutions and deliver bottom line benefit as a result of understanding product opportunities. These can be on the areas of new proposition, technology, regulation, industry and market
Represent and support the bank in driving GTx Next Gen Proposition evolution in alignment with the banks overall strategy and goals

Understanding of client operating and business model across priority segments in the region
Ability to advise clients on cash management, cash forecasting, working capital management and treasury risk management
Close liaison with staff from GTB Solutions & Advisory, Cash and Trade Finance products, Client Services, Channel Support, (Global) Branch Network, Relationship Managers, IT Desk, Operations, Legal, In-country Operations Risk and other relevant stakeholders in the product development and commercialisation process
Participate in review of service standards, operational process, product and service quality to ensure that we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients
Assist our clients in understanding and using our GTx products and channels
Qualifications & Experience
Knowledge
10-15 years of relevant experience in Corporate Treasury
Self-driven/ leading group projects for Corporates in implementing treasury solutions for clients
Thorough knowledge and experience in developing and driving Treasury Centralisation
Experience in complex project implementations
Knowledge of ERPs, and TMS systems is vital
