Job Description

The E-commerce Product Manager is pivotal in orchestrating and steering the strategic direction and execution of digital products within the e-commerce platform. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, technological expertise, and customer-centric focus to drive the development and management of product offerings. The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and IT, to enhance user experiences and optimize business outcomes. They must be adept at analyzing market trends, understanding customer needs, and translating these insights into actionable product plans. Positioned within a dynamic and fast-paced digital commerce environment, the E-commerce Product Manager is expected to continuously innovate and evolve the product line to align with organizational goals and industry standards. This role is essential in ensuring the efficiency, profitability, and scalability of the e-commerce operations.


Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision and strategy for e-commerce business success.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to bring ideas and products to life.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs and preferences.
  • Develop and prioritize a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch and beyond.
  • Facilitate daily scrum meetings and manage agile software development processes.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure product performance and inform decision-making.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor competitive landscape to identify potential differentiation opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in strategic planning and execution phases.
  • Ensure product documentation is accurate and up-to-date for stakeholder communication.
  • Work closely with customer service to integrate user feedback into product improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in e-commerce.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional product development teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Demonstrated understanding of UX/UI principles and their application in product design.
