Job Description

The E-commerce Product Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the online experience and digital strategy for retail brands. This position is critical in driving the company's online sales growth through expert management of e-commerce product offerings. The E-commerce Product Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the online product lineup, ensuring that it aligns with consumer demands and market trends. They work closely with multiple departments, including marketing, supply chain, and technology teams, to enhance the digital shopping experience and meet the company's e-commerce objectives. Their ability to analyze data, understand consumer behavior, and manage product lifecycles is essential to the overall success of the company's online sales strategy.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement online product strategies to increase sales growth effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across platforms.
  • Analyze market trends and customer data to identify product opportunities.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from conception through to online launch and beyond.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor competitors and suggest necessary improvements to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance the customer shopping experience online.
  • Employ data analytics to track product performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure all products meet quality and compliance standards before launch.
  • Prepare periodical reports on product performance and strategic insights for management.
  • Work closely with IT teams to enhance e-commerce platform functionalities.
  • Lead product training sessions for sales and customer service teams on new offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar e-commerce product management role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with digital marketing and e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management and agile methodologies is advantageous.
