421 invites UAE and regionally-based designers, artists and creatives to submit their products to the Regionally Logical 2022 Open Call for a chance to be part of Dukkan421, our shop that is home to a wide range of design-led products and items. We encourage creatives and designers of all disciplines and backgrounds to apply, including those working with printed matter, publishing, jewelry making, textiles, ceramics, fashion, furniture and homeware design, photography and image-making, and children’s products.

Regionally Logical is part of our mission to cultivate and celebrate the region’s contemporary designers and creatives. We aim to nurture an appreciation for design by giving creatives the opportunity to showcase their innovation, artistry and craftsmanship through Dukkan421’s far reaching platform.

Applications to this open call are accepted on a rolling basis and will be reviewed by our team. Applicants will be contacted within four weeks of submitting their applications. Selected applicants will own the title and right to their products. Kindly note that works on canvas, paintings, and large-scale illustrated works will not be considered for the open call at this time.

Inspired by the architectural themes of 421 and our neighborhood of Mina Zayed, Dukkan421 reflects our commitment to supporting local and regional talent, featuring products carefully selected by the team, such as homeware, prints, stationary, accessories, and art books, as well as a variety of fun, educational products for kids, that are relevant to and reflect connections with our locale.

Selected applicants will own the right and title to their products. 421 will sell the products in our in-house store, Dukkan421.
