Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations following driving schedules.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on vehicles to ensure safe operations.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on duty.
• Plan routes efficiently to deliver goods promptly and cost-effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior for passenger and cargo safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to update delivery status.
• Handle cargo and goods with care to prevent damage during transit.
• Document delivery details and obtain necessary recipient signatures as required.
• Report any vehicular issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate department efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service experiences by being courteous and professional.
• Stay informed of weather conditions and adjust driving strategies as needed.
• Assist in loading and unloading items to and from the vehicle when necessary.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
• Previous professional driving or delivery experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and geographical navigation skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Strong communication skills necessary to interact with customers and team members effectively.
