Draughtsman Civil

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings including foundations, equipment foundations, underground utilities, grading, paving, and concrete structures.


• Develop drawings such as GA drawings, sections, details, and as-built drawings as per project requirements.


• Coordinate with Civil/Structural Engineers to understand design requirements and incorporate comments and revisions.


• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, ADNOC standards, Technip standards, and relevant international codes.


• Revise drawings based on site conditions, technical queries (TQs), and change requests.


• Support construction teams by providing accurate drawings and timely revisions.


• Maintain proper documentation control of drawings and revisions.


• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination with Mechanical, Piping, E&I, and other departments.


• Assist in preparation of as-built drawings upon project completion.

• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory)


• Experience with SmartPlant / MicroStation is an advantage


• Good understanding of civil and structural drawings for Oil & Gas plants


• Familiarity with ADNOC, Technip, and international standards (ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO)

• Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering / Draftsmanship


• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering will be an added advantage

Experience

Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in Oil & Gas plant construction projects

• Good knowledge of site construction practices and materials


• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines


• Strong communication and coordination skills
