Draftsman MEP

We are recruiting a Draftsman – MEP for our client, a leading building materials company in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established wholesale supplier of building materials based in Abu Dhabi, serving contractors, developers, and construction companies across the UAE. They offer a wide range of high-quality products that meet the demands of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed Revit models and drawings for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection) and interior fit-outs (partitions, ceilings, finishes, and furniture)
  
• Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings in compliance with project standards
  
• Convert hand sketches, markups, or CAD files into accurate BIM models
  
• Ensure all models adhere to the BIM execution plan
  
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors to refine ductwork layouts, piping schematics, lighting plans, and electrical systems
  
• Produce fit-out drawings, including material schedules, joinery details, and reflected ceiling plans
  
  
  
  

• Experience in drafting ductwork, piping, electrical layouts, fire protection systems, and lighting plans
  
• Ability to produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings for fit-out projects (e.g., ceilings, partitions, and finishes)
  
• Proficiency in Revit for creating detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and interior fit-out drawings
  
• Strong knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling)
