Draftsman - Fitout and Joinery 16J25

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman specializing in Fitout and Joinery to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing precise and comprehensive drawings that lay the foundation for high-quality fit-out and joinery projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, designers, and project managers, ensuring that project specifications are accurately interpreted and implemented. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings and blueprints for fitout and joinery projects.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to interpret project specifications accurately.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and design changes from the project team.
• Coordinate with project managers to align drawings with project schedules.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for precision and efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of material lists and quantity takeoffs.
• Conduct site visits to collect measurements and detailed project information.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and project-related documents.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the production team as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance drafting processes.
• Ensure the timely delivery of drawings to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman, particularly in fitout and joinery.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of construction materials and methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise drawings.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
