Role Overview
The Director - Strategic Accounts is responsible for owning and growing a portfolio of high-value enterprise and government accounts, driving large-scale AI transformation opportunities, and expanding Inception’s footprint with C-level stakeholders.
This role requires a senior, consultative seller with deep enterprise experience, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to translate complex AI solutions into tangible business outcomes. You will work closely with the Senior Commercial Director and cross-functional teams—including Product, R&D, Delivery, and Partnerships—to execute strategic account plans and deliver against aggressive growth targets.
Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management & Growth
Own, nurture, and expand a defined portfolio of strategic enterprise and government accounts.
Develop multi-year account strategies aligned to customer priorities and Inception’s solution roadmap.
Build champion relationships at the C-suite, VP, and Director levels to influence strategic decisions.
Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Inception’s AI solutions and platforms.
Sales Execution & Pipeline Leadership
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals from qualification to closure, ensuring high win rates.
Build and maintain a strong, predictable pipeline for strategic accounts.
Drive rigorous sales forecasting, reporting, and account planning.
Develop compelling proposals, commercial models, RFP responses, and value propositions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Product and R&D teams to align client needs with solution capabilities and the product roadmap.
Partner with Delivery and Customer Success teams to ensure successful implementation and long-term client satisfaction.
Collaborate with G42 ecosystem companies to deliver integrated, high-impact AI offerings.
Market & Industry Leadership
Stay current with market trends, AI technological advancements, and competitive landscapes.
Represent Inception at industry events, conferences, and executive leadership engagements.
Provide feedback to internal teams on market needs to influence GTM strategy and product evolution.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
12 - 15 years of enterprise or government sales experience, preferably in AI, cloud, analytics, or advanced technology domains.
Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and closing large, complex multi-million-dollar deals.
Strong understanding of AI, data platforms, machine learning, or cloud infrastructure (technical depth preferred but not mandatory).
Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, with experience selling at the C-suite level.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
Experience in the Middle East region is highly preferred; Arabic a plus.
