You will discover, execute and publish engaging website focusing on lifestyle and news, monitor and analyse performance metrics, and work closely with editorial, social and commercial teams. Key Responsibilities

• Discover, pitch, and write engaging news and lifestyle stories for Time Out Abu Dhabi’s website.
• Ensure daily content goals are met, publishing quickly, accurately and on-brand.
• Keep across local news, events, openings, trends and viral moments relevant to Abu Dhabi.
• Monitor performance metrics, analysing what works and refining strategies accordingly.
• Ensure all content aligns with editorial tone and brand standards.
• Nurture and maintain strong relationships with key PRs and brands.
• Stay on-the-pulse of the city’s news.
  
  

• A confident journalist and content writer with proven experience writing lifestyle, entertainment or city stories.
• Strong editorial instincts: you know what makes a great Time Out story.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Someone with 2-3 years of experience in the media field or similar.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy content schedule.
• Ability to work with both pace and accuracy.
• Comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of SEO, GEO and writing for social audiences.
• Flexibility to attend events outside of standard office hours.
• Fluent in English; Arabic a plus.
