As the Digitial Execution Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of the overall regional digital strategy in line with the company strategy, the systems technology and the tool selection required to support the region’s digital execution optimisation and data-centric delivery to the various customer and Worley objectives.

Identify the Project Systems and Information Management requirements to meet customer and project expectations; leading, collaborating with all stakeholders in the delivery of projects and other stakeholders to select and optimize systems and work processes to deliver to these requirements.

This responsibility extends to coordination and integration where required of Project Delivery Systems across all functions and disciplines, such as Engineering Design Systems, Engineering Data Management Systems (EDM), Engineering Specifications Management, Project Management Systems, Construction Management Systems, Project Control Systems (Estimating, Planning, Cost Control, Progressing), Procurement Systems etc. Third Party hosted systems, information technology Systems and other enterprise systems including iM Infrastructure.

This role is instrumental in driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless integration of project data with operational systems. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, enthusiastic, and empowering—capable of inspiring cross-functional teams and clients alike. They must also be a strong advocate of digitally enabled technology, promoting its value across all stages of project and operational lifecycles.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Ownership of and accountability for regions digital execution strategy.
  • Responsible for defining, overseeing and supporting the digital delivery strategy and scope across multiple projects in the region. This includes development and implementation of the Project Systems & Information Management Plan, application landscape, software selection, software implementation and associated resource plans to meet projects contractual requirements.
  • Champion a systematic approach to improving current work processes through the implementation of project software & tools.
  • Reviewer of change requests that may affect system integrations, data centric delivery and/or information handover.
  • Engaged in all key bids and endorses digital tools selection and digital execution strategy.
  • Responsible for delivering the digital scope of the projects (systems, system architecture, data, system integrations and workflows) through the project life cycle (engineering and design, construction, commissioning and completions).
  • Coordinates with all management and discipline leads covering all project functions (particularly Engineering, Procurement, Construction) to plan and oversee a project’s digital execution.
  • Accountable for the project’s standard tools deviation approvals.
  • Responsible for project digital execution strategy and data-centric execution.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining Digital Twin and data standards to enhance productivity, consistency, and quality across engineering deliverables.
  • Functional management of the project’s project delivery system (PDS) team, ensuring effective, timely, set up of system architecture, software procurement and configuration of project systems and integrations.
  • Functional management of the project’s information management team and responsible for the project’s information policy, strategies, specifications, plans and procedures.
  • Responsible to oversee and support Change Management on all new digital initiatives.

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant years’ experience delivering digital solutions in the resources industry, including good years of relevant supervisory, project management and/or technical experience.
  • Knowledge of (and certifications in) Scrum/Agile methodologies preferred.
  • Proven experience in implementing digital transformation initiatives in engineering or construction environments.
  • Experience in Consulting/EPC/CM industry digital tools and with strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning processes.
  • Sound understanding of Digital Delivery techniques and methods to identify and translate functional requirements into robust fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of digital twins, data standards, data analytics, and cloud platforms
