Job Purpose
- Customer relationship management, Project Planning, Scheduling, Implementation, Progress Monitoring & Control on Process Automation projects
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Reviewing the Customer Project Contractual, Technical, product Specification, and Standard requirements.
- Project Management from Initiation, Planning, Execution and Control for ensuring Project Success.
- Project scheduling and Planning.
- Coordination with Customer Project Manager/Engineers for Commercial and technical issues.
- Progress Billing and Contract Claim Management.
- Manage Project scope and scope change management process.
- Report to the PMO Division Manager/ Dept. Manager and or Project Director/ Sr. Project Manager on daily basis.
- Coordination with vendors and subcontractors for technical and other issues for meeting the delivery schedule.
- Preparation and review of Project Monthly Progress Report.
- Attending the Customer Project Progress review meetings.
- Project Progress Monitoring & Reporting. Project Costing and Co-ordination.
- Preparation of Project Budget and monthly Project Rolling Forecast.
- Compilation and submission of Change Orders / Waivers / Concessions.
- Preparation of Project Summary, Risk Register and updating on regular basis.
- Mitigate all the Project Technical risks, Contract Risks
- Work towards Maximizing the “ In country Value (ICV) “
Qualifications And Experience
- Must be a U.A.E national and if male, should have completed U.A.E National service
- A Degree in the Engineering preferably in Instrumentation / Electronics & Electrical
- Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in the field of Project Management preferably in Industrial Automation domain or Oil & GAS EPC domain.
- ISO 9001 / 14001 Quality Management System Awareness.
- PMP Training and Certification (Preferable)
Required Competencies / Skills
- Converse fluently in both Arabic & English.
- Should possess sound technical skills and must be a self-learner.
- Customer relationship management and ability to interact, without inhibition, with senior customer management team.
- Ability to understand CONTRACT language and its implications on a Project.
- Knowledge of basic Finance and its applicability in a Project environment.
- Basic knowledge of Agile Project management techniques
- Must be a TEAM player and willing to work in a multi-cultural global work environment.
- Good Management and Leadership Skills
- Knowledge of IT basics and Microsoft Applications.
- Must be well versed in using Project Planning tools like MS-Project or Primavera, SAP.
- Project Progress Reporting and Presentation skills.
- Good organization & Time management skills.
- Working knowledge on AI/ML and its application on Industrial Automation
