Delivery Manager Investment AI

Overview

As a Delivery Manager – InAlpha at Inception, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of AI-powered products used in investment, capital markets, and financial decision-making contexts. You will ensure AI initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business, regulatory, and customer expectations.

This role is suited to a delivery-focused professional with experience in investment platforms, fintech, or financial services, who is comfortable working with technical teams while remaining strongly client-, product-, and outcome-oriented

Responsibilities

This role focuses on the delivery and execution of an AI investment product, coordinating across engineering, data science, product, and business stakeholders. You will operate at the intersection of AI technology, investment use cases, and delivery governance, ensuring solutions are production-ready, scalable, and aligned with investment workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end delivery of AI products focused on investment, fintech, or capital markets use cases.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, including engineers, data scientists, product managers, and external partners.
• Translate investment and business requirements into structured delivery plans, milestones, and execution roadmaps.
• Ensure delivery is completed on time, within scope, and within budget, with clear reporting and governance.
• Act as the primary delivery interface for stakeholders, including internal leadership, clients, and partners.
• Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and issues, particularly within regulated or data-sensitive environments.
• Work closely with technical teams to understand system constraints, data flows, and AI model dependencies (without being hands-on engineering).
• Ensure AI solutions meet investment-grade standards, including reliability, explainability, auditability, and performance expectations.
• Implement agile and hybrid delivery methodologies appropriate for AI and data-driven products.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, delivery metrics, and post-implementation reviews.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in delivery, program management, or service delivery within investment, fintech, or financial services environments.
• Proven experience delivering technology or data-driven products used in investment, trading, research, or financial decision-making.
• Solid working knowledge of AI, data platforms, or analytics solutions (conceptual understanding rather than hands-on development).
• Experience operating in regulated, high-stakes environments (financial services, capital markets, asset management, fintech).
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior business and technical leaders.
• Proficiency with delivery and project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence, etc.).
