Job Description

We are searching for a diligent and dedicated Data Entry Operator to join our team, identified by job code 29O25. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle a large volume of data accurately. As a Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our internal databases and systems with high accuracy and efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring that our data is reliable and accessible. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the integrity of our data and support the smooth operation of our business processes.


Responsibilities

  • Input and update data accurately into designated databases and spreadsheets.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of data entered, making corrections when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information in line with company policies.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and managers to sort and prioritize work assignments.
  • Perform regular data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with data standards.
  • Prepare and sort documents for data entry to streamline workload management.
  • Assist in generating reports from the database for management review and analysis.
  • Manage and organize electronic and paper files for easy access and retrieval.
  • Work with IT staff to resolve technical issues related to data entry operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the improvement of data processes.
  • Update training and procedural documentation as processes evolve and change.
  • Ensure daily deadlines are met without compromising accuracy and quality of data.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar role in a corporate setting.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy with attention to detail and precision.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various departments and staff effectively.
  • Familiarity with office equipment and basic IT troubleshooting skills are advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in related fields are a plus.
