Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining a large volume of data in our databases and systems. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure data integrity and prepare reports for management. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent typing skills. Responsibilities

  • Input and update data accurately into databases and spreadsheets.
  • Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with team members to update and maintain data records.
  • Generate and distribute reports as required by management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and report them to supervisors.
  • Maintain data confidentiality and ensure data security protocols are followed.
  • Coordinate with various departments to source accurate data for entry.
  • Assist in developing data management procedures and policies when necessary.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and document management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the data entry function.
  • Stay updated on new data entry software and technologies available.
  • Provide administrative support as required by the department management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar position.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data entry software, spreadsheets, and other office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in office management tools and spreadsheet software like MS Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of data entry methodologies and best practices.
