Data Engineer Informatica Cloud IICS Developer M F D

A large multinational enterprise undergoing major data‑driven modernization initiatives. The organization is seeking a Data Engineer / Informatica Cloud (IICS) Developer to design, build, and optimize cloud‑based data integration solutions that support enterprise analytics, data warehousing, and digital transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Pipeline Architecture: Architect and build robust dataflow frameworks and pipelines for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (DWH).
• API Integration: Design and build SOAP/RESTful API integrations using IICS Application Integration (CAI) components.
• ETL Development: Develop and support high-performance Informatica ETL jobs to support analytical applications and business users.
• Business Services: Build Business Services using JSON/XML to interface with external web services and APIs.
• Orchestration: Design complex Taskflows to sequence mappings, manage dependencies, and schedule jobs based on business requirements.
• Automation: Write batch scripts for file watching and transfer protocols (SFTP) to automate end-to-end data integration processes.
• Infrastructure Awareness: Apply understanding of Cloud infrastructure (Server, Storage, Network) to deliver efficient end-to-end architectures.
• Testing & Validation: Rigorously test task flows to ensure the Data Warehouse is updated accurately and data models are loaded according to requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive up-to-date documentation of implementation, troubleshooting guides, and ETL processes (mappings, logic, and issue resolution).
• Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changes in the Informatica Cloud ecosystem.
  
  

Work Experience / Knowledge:

• Degree educated with 5+ years overall industry experience.
• Minimum 4 years of specialized experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), specifically CDI and CAI modules.
• Expertise in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) development (Mappings, Replication tasks, Synchronization tasks) – Must
• Expertise in Informatica Application Integration (CAI) development (Processes, Service Connectors, and Process Objects) – Must
• Experience/Knowledge in Snowflake Data Cloud – Must
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) – Must
• Strong knowledge of advanced IICS features: Error Handling, Workflow Recovery, Advanced Parameterization, and Dynamic Mappings.
• Experience with API-driven design and web services standards (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, JSON).
• Ability to analyze, profile, and build processing rules/dictionaries for Arabic data is preferred.
• Good understanding of Data Quality (CDQ/IDQ) concepts and profiling is preferred.
• Proficiency in a variety of integration technologies (Relational databases, SFTP, Messaging patterns).
• Experience/Knowledge of Python or Java for external scripting is a plus.
