Data Assurance Lead M F D

A leading regional financial institution undergoing a major data transformation initiative. The organization is seeking a Data Assurance Lead to strengthen its data governance, quality, and reliability across its enterprise data platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data assurance framework across all layers of the enterprise data platform.
• Establish and maintain a standardized library of data quality rules, including schema, business rules, reconciliation, and timeliness validations.
• Automate data validation, monitoring, and reporting processes to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Configure and manage alerting, incident escalation, and root-cause analysis for data quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce data quality standards, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with governance requirements.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and training materials to enhance adoption of data quality practices.
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade data quality or data assurance frameworks.
• Hands-on background in modern data platforms and structured data lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of metadata management, data contracts, and reconciliation methodologies.
• Ability to automate validation processes and streamline quality checks through tooling and scripting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments on large-scale data programs.
