The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design and implement the organization’s data architecture strategy, enabling scalable, secure, and high-performance data ecosystems that support advanced analytics, AI, and business decision-making.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and implementation of data architecture strategy across the organization
• Design scalable data models, data structures, and data platforms to support analytics and AI use cases
• Architect and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for batch and real-time processing
• Lead the design and evolution of data platforms including data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures
• Establish and enforce data governance, quality, lineage, and security standards across systems
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business and product requirements into scalable data solutions
• Drive the integration of data architecture into product and solution design to ensure consistency and reusability
• Support go-to-market strategies by enabling robust and reliable data capabilities across products and solutions
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and platforms for data storage, processing, and management
• Drive large-scale data initiatives that require balancing complexity, performance, and cost efficiency
• Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on data strategy, risks, and opportunities
• Provide direction and technical leadership to data engineers and related teams
• Conduct data architecture reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives
• Communicate complex data challenges into clear, actionable solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments
  
  

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or a related field
• At least 7–12 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles
• Strong experience in designing and implementing large-scale data platforms and data strategies
• Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
• Experience with modern data architectures including data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse models
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices
• Experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines and distributed data processing systems
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align teams around data strategy
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Experience working in cloud environments and designing cloud-based data solutions
• Understanding of AI/ML data requirements and enabling data for advanced analytics
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and alignment to broader technology strategy
