Data Architect Lead

Role Summary:

The role holder is responsible for directly influencing and enabling advanced data initiatives across AD Airports. The role holder will manage, architect, and analyze large and complex datasets to generate data‑driven insights and develop high‑impact data models. The role holder will establish a value chain that addresses challenges related to data acquisition, evaluation, distillation, and analysis. By synthesizing data from multiple sources, the role holder will deliver insights that provide a competitive advantage. In addition, the role holder will contribute to the development of organizational assets, offerings, and thought leadership.

Required Competencies, Qualifications/ Education and Experience

Core Competencies

• Expertise in analyzing large and complex datasets using techniques & tools to extract actionable insights.
• Capability to align data initiatives with organizational goals, create value chains, and
• identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and
• quality assurance practices to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with government stakeholders, communicate complex data
• concepts clearly and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of data-related assets, frameworks, and best
• practices while staying ahead of emerging trends and technologies.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills are essential, enabling easy interpretation and analysis of large volumes of data.
• Advanced Statistical & Machine Learning Knowledge

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (mandatory).
• Master’s degree in computer science or computer applications (preferred).
• Data Architecture certification in Azure.
• 9+ years of total experience, with at least 6 years in a relevant data architecture field.

Technical Experience

• Experience on Big Data platforms and distributed computing like Azure, Datalake, Synapse etc.
• Experience in Data Quality Assessment (profiling, anomaly detection) and data documentation (schema, dictionaries)
• Experience in data architecture, data warehousing and modelling techniques (Relational, ETL/ELT, and ADF (Azure Data Factory) and consider performance alternatives.
• Aware of cloud data platforms like Azure and building architecture that leverages the cloud.
• Experience of architecting data solutions across hybrid (cloud, on premises)
• data platforms.
