Job Description

As a Credit Card Sales Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our credit card customer base. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with potential customers, helping them understand the benefits and features of our credit card products. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards. Your expertise and interpersonal skills will be key in identifying and acquiring new clients, and in supporting them throughout their application process.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with prospective customers to promote credit card products.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure high-level customer satisfaction.
  • Provide detailed and accurate information about credit card features and benefits.
  • Assist customers in completing applications and provide guidance throughout the process.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to enhance product offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities and outcomes to management.
  • Attend industry events and workshops to expand professional knowledge and network.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues and inquiries promptly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is advantageous.
  • Deep understanding of credit card products and banking industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer objections.
