Job Description

As a Counter Sales Executive, you will be the frontline representative of our company's sales efforts, responsible for engaging with customers and facilitating transactions at the counter. You will be tasked with understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate products or services, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role demands excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of the products offered, and the ability to work under pressure in a customer-centric environment. Your goal will be to enhance the customer experience, drive sales, and foster loyalty by providing outstanding customer service and support. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs swiftly and professionally.
  • Educate customers about product features, benefits, and specifications effectively.
  • Offer recommendations to customers based on their specific preferences and needs.
  • Process sales transactions promptly while ensuring complete accuracy at all times.
  • Manage inventory control, updating stock levels, and conducting regular audits.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints courteously, ensuring total satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized counter area to promote an inviting atmosphere.
  • Stay updated with current promotions, policies, and product launches comprehensively.
  • Assist with merchandising strategy by arranging displays to maximize sales potential.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, encouraging return visits and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store targets effectively and efficiently.
  • Generate sales reports and provide feedback to management regarding customer requests.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education level required.
  • Proven experience in retail or counter sales required, preferably two years.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices and pos systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and deliver solutions.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor to represent the company positively.
