Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair operations of all port equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement strategic maintenance policies and procedures tailored for port services.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations for all maintenance activities.
• Manage and supervise a team of skilled maintenance technicians and support staff.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services and parts.
• Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Perform regular inspections of port facilities to assess maintenance needs and priorities.
• Plan and schedule routine maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize operational downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance management in the port or marine industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems as related to port facilities.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with previous supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs within maintenance operations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certification in maintenance or facilities management is preferred but not mandatory.
