Job Description

As a Corporate Banking Manager, you will play a critical role in the financial success and stability of our high-profile corporate clients. Your primary task will be to develop and manage long-term relationships with companies, ensuring that their financial needs and business objectives are met with tailor-made banking solutions. This position involves significant responsibility, including the formulation of strategic plans that guide the bank's services to corporate entities. In your role, you will act as a pivotal link between the bank and its corporate clients, requiring an in-depth understanding of corporate finance, risk management, and banking regulations. You must be adept at understanding complex financial scenarios and able to present and negotiate solutions that are beneficial to both the bank and its clients. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to client management are essential in ensuring our corporate banking goals are achieved successfully.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with corporate clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze corporate clients’ financial needs and offer appropriate banking solutions.
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of financial plans for corporate accounts.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with corporate banking activities and products.
  • Lead negotiations to secure beneficial terms for both clients and the bank.
  • Collaborate with the credit team to assess and approve corporate loan applications.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements in banking operations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional banking products and services to clients.
  • Monitor market developments and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff within the corporate banking team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in corporate banking or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial and banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in relationship management and business development skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team, effectively.
