Healthpoint is seeking an accomplished Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Shoulder Surgery to join our world‑class Orthopedics Department. The ideal candidate will be a Tier 1-equivalent consultant with advanced expertise in both arthroscopic and open shoulder procedures, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient outcomes. This role plays a critical part in supporting our growing caseload of shoulder injuries, sports-related conditions, and complex reconstruction cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced arthroscopic and open shoulder surgeries, including stabilizations, rotator cuff repairs, reconstructions, and revision procedures.
• Provide expert diagnosis and management of a full range of shoulder conditions in the outpatient setting.
• Lead patient pathways from consultation through surgical planning to post-operative follow-up.
• Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, sports medicine physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement, departmental meetings, and clinical governance activities.
• Support the development of specialized shoulder programs and surgical services.
  
  

• Tier 1 Consultant qualification (e.g., CCT or equivalent) in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training or recognized subspecialty expertise in Shoulder Surgery (mandatory).
• Extensive experience in advanced shoulder procedures, including arthroscopy and reconstruction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• DOH licensure or eligibility as Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon.
