Healthpoint is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Foot and Ankle surgery to join its multidisciplinary orthopedic team. The successful candidate will provide expert-level care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered treatment in line with international standards of clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized consultation, diagnosis, and surgical management of foot and ankle orthopedic conditions, including trauma, deformities, sports injuries, and degenerative disorders.
• Perform complex elective and emergency foot and ankle surgical procedures with a high degree of clinical competence.
• Deliver comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care.
• Collaborate closely with physiotherapy, rehabilitation, sports medicine, and other orthopedic subspecialties.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to care pathway development.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and patient safety standards.
• Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and clinical supervision where applicable.
  
  

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Board certification / CCT in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship or formal subspecialty training in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience at Consultant level (as per DOH requirements).
• Eligibility for Department of Health (DOH) licensure in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong track record in managing complex foot and ankle cases.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach to care.
