Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

We are seeking a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our distinguished medical team. The ideal candidate will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and surgical care for patients suffering from musculoskeletal conditions. This role demands a surgical expert who delivers compassionate, high-quality care and collaborates effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare settings.

Position Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments through physical exams and imaging to diagnose orthopedic diseases and injuries accurately
• Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, incorporating surgical and non-surgical options
• Perform complex orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, arthroscopy, and trauma interventions, with an emphasis on patient safety and recovery
• Manage post-operative patient care and rehabilitation to ensure optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team environment to enhance patient care quality
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and preventive practices
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay update on advances in orthopedic surgery and medical technology
• Maintain meticulous medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
  
  

• Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency program
• Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery is required
• Minimum 5 years post-residency experience in orthopedic surgery, preferably at a consultant level
• Proven expertise in a variety of orthopedic surgical procedures and musculoskeletal disorders
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
• Ability to deliver compassionate patient-centered care
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
