As a Consultant – Health and Safety (24N25), you will be at the forefront of creating and implementing safety strategies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Working with a diverse range of clients, from large corporations to small businesses, you will identify potential hazards, propose innovative solutions to mitigate risks, and foster a culture of safety. Your role is pivotal in conducting audits, preparing comprehensive reports, and advising on best practices to ensure the safety and well-being of employees within their workplace environments. You will utilize your expertise to influence and guide organizational safety strategies, thereby minimizing incidents and promoting a healthier workplace.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed safety audits and assessments across various client sites and industries.
• Develop comprehensive health and safety management systems tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide expert advice on compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
• Design and deliver specialized training programs to enhance workforce safety awareness.
• Investigate any health and safety incidents and report findings with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with management teams to integrate safety practices into operational procedures.
• Monitor safety performance through analytics and implement improvements as necessary.
• Advise on the implementation of safety technologies and innovations in client operations.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders on safety performance.
• Facilitate emergency response drills and ensure readiness against potential hazards.
• Engage with industry bodies to stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes.
• Consult with construction and engineering teams during project planning to preempt risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a health and safety consulting role.
• Excellent knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory safety standards and practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and suggest viable solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing safety training programs.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required for audits and consultations.
