Consultant General Surgeon

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Consultant General Surgeon to join our medical team. You will be responsible for delivering expert surgical care, performing complex surgeries, and managing the full spectrum of patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role requires a commitment to excellence, patient safety, and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients requiring surgical interventions
• Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures safely and effectively
• Manage pre-operative preparation and post-operative follow-up care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient treatment plans
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and care
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records of all patients
• Engage in clinical audits, quality assurance, and professional development activities
• Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques, technology, and standards
  
  

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Completed residency training in General Surgery
• Board certification in General Surgery
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Consultant General Surgeon
• Extensive knowledge of general surgical procedures and patient management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
