Consultant Gastroenterologist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our expert medical team. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, developing individualized patient care plans, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with a range of gastrointestinal conditions
• Conduct advanced endoscopic procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Develop treatment strategies tailored to individual patient needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their conditions and treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records
• Participate in research and ongoing professional development activities

• Medical degree and specialist certification in Gastroenterology
• Board certification in Gastroenterology is mandatory
• Valid and active medical license to practice
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in gastroenterology
• Proficient in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
