ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join its expanding emergency, trauma and resuscitation services.

The role offers an opportunity for an internationally trained clinician to work in a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will contribute advanced emergency medicine expertise while working closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams and maintaining high standards of patient-centred care.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the assessment and stabilisation of emergency, trauma, cardiac, medical, surgical and paediatric presentations.
• Manage resuscitation, airway emergencies, procedural sedation and critical decision-making within the emergency department.
• Assess and triage complex cases, supervise emergency care teams and coordinate timely specialist referrals.
• Ensure safe patient flow, observation unit management, transfers and discharge planning.
• Participate in trauma protocols, disaster preparedness, simulation training and clinical governance activities.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with patient safety and medico-legal standards.

• UK CCT / FRCEM
• European Board of Emergency Medicine
• Royal College Certification, Canada
• Australian FACEM
• Arab Board
• MD / DNB / FCPS or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
