We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anesthesiologist to join our clinical team at Healthpoint Hospital in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in anesthesia practice, including long-term care and ICU settings, and demonstrate excellence in perioperative management, patient safety, and multidisciplinary collaboration. As part of a quality-driven hospital environment that combines international standards with personalized patient care, the Consultant Anesthesiologist will play a key role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia services across a range of surgical, procedural, and critical care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective anesthesia care across perioperative settings.
• Manage anesthesia and pain control for elective and emergency procedures, including LTC patients.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups.
• Provide clinical support and anesthesia-related care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including airway management, sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, ICU physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with specialization in Anesthesiology.
• Consultant-level certification (or equivalent) recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.
• Valid DOH license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Proven experience in anesthesia practice, with experience in ICU and Long-Term Care (LTC) settings preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care.
