Job Description

The Construction Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the success of construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves strategic planning, coordination, and execution of building projects within various sectors such as commercial, residential, and infrastructure. The manager will oversee all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. A deep understanding of construction methods, industry standards, and legal regulations is vital. The role demands strong leadership skills to effectively manage the project team and liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. The Construction Project Manager must possess a keen eye for detail, the ability to solve complex problems, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and define each project phase from design through completion.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial control.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Monitor progress and performance through regular site inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations at sites.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates.
  • Resolve any problems or issues that arise during construction.
  • Maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards.
  • Utilize project management software for efficient project tracking.
  • Prepare and present reports to clients and stakeholders regularly.
  • Conduct risk management assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely project delivery by adhering to schedules and deadlines.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal guidelines.
  • Proficiency with project management software like MS Project or Primavera.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and manage a team effectively.
