Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the Project Management Consultant (PMC) team and ensure successful project delivery. The CM will oversee project quality, safety, progress, cost objectives, and ensure full compliance with PMC procedures and contractual obligations.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

·       Lead PMC staff in controlling project quality, safety, progress, and cost objectives, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with PMC requirements.

·       Liaise with PMC management and the Project Manager on project progress, technical concerns, and proposed solutions.

·       Establish and implement PMC in-house project management procedures, including design and construction supervision processes.

·       Assess and report on contractor submissions, change requests, variations, and claims, providing recommendations to PMC management.

·       Coordinate with the Engineering Manager to ensure design compliance, timely deliverables, and minimal cost impact.

·       Supervise and guide PMC staff, including Construction Supervisors, Multidiscipline Engineers, and Site Inspection Engineers.

·       Conduct regular site visits to monitor project activities, review contractor compliance, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

·       Oversee project closeout activities, including review of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, spare parts, and training programs, and prepare the PMC closeout report.

 

Qualifications & Experience

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline.

·       Minimum 20 years of overall experience in project management, with at least 12 years in project management roles and 5 years within the same organization.

·       Extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary teams in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

·       Strong knowledge of project management, design review, construction supervision, and QA/QC practices.

·       Proven ability to manage contractor relations, variations, claims, and project closeout processes.

·       Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

·       Familiarity with ADNOC procedures, industry standards, and safety regulations is highly desirable.

·       Available in UAE / Immediate joiners preferred
