Construction Manager Buildings

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and manage building construction activities from execution through completion and handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to the required quality standards, and in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day construction activities and site operations.
• Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor project progress, programme, resources, and construction sequencing.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical, construction, and site coordination issues.
• Coordinate design changes, variations, and additional works with relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor quality and workmanship.
• Support project completion, snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authority requirements and project procedures.
  
  
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 15–20 years of relevant building construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on building projects.
• SOE and DMT registration is mandatory.
• Strong experience in construction management, contractor coordination, project delivery, programme and quality control, and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building construction methods, drawings, specifications, and UAE construction practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 knowledge is an advantage.
