As a Commercial Finance & ERP Specialist, you will support the implementation of the AGORA ERP system within Gas Services Middle East Field Service and Tooling while providing comprehensive commercial finance and controlling support to the business.
Your role will combine financial planning, reporting, cost and project controlling with hands-on involvement in ERP implementation, data migration, validation, and financial process alignment. Following the system implementation, the role will evolve to support ongoing business requirements and the long-term financial performance of service operations.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Commercial Finance & Controlling – 60%
- Perform financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities for the business.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and performance commentary.
- Advise operational management on the financial impact of business decisions, cost control measures, and profitability improvement opportunities.
- Manage cost accounting, project controlling, and financial analysis for service operations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS, and company financial policies.
- Manage resource delegation orders related to Temporary Hiring Out personnel, Service Level Agreements, Process Adjustment Tax Advice, and offer creation compliance.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including:
- Journal Vouchers (JVs)
- Accruals
- WIP clearing
- OCC adjustments
- COPA margins
- Plan cost updates
- OoH reporting
ERP System Implementation & Support – 40%
- Act as a key Finance partner for the AGORA ERP implementation project.
- Ensure financial and commercial requirements are appropriately reflected within the new ERP environment.
- Support financial data migration, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with IT and project teams to define and test financial workflows, controls, and reporting requirements.
- Support the cleansing and validation of commercial master data.
- Ensure ERP processes remain aligned with company commercial policies and financial controls.
- Contribute to process improvement opportunities throughout the ERP implementation and transition.
What You Bring
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- 5–7 years of professional experience in Accounts, Finance, Financial Analysis, Controlling, or a related finance function.
- Experience consistent with a Specialist Professional (P4) level.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Experience participating in ERP implementation or system migration projects is highly desirable.
