We are looking for a Commercial Analytics Manager who can transform complex data into powerful insights that influence executive decisions and shape the commercial future of our portfolio.
The Commercial Analytics Manager provides strategic analytical support to Rotana’s commercial leadership, consolidating and interpreting commercial data across Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Distribution, and Loyalty. The role ensures that all corporate-level commercial decisions are data-driven, aligned with strategic objectives, and optimized for group-wide performance. This position requires a holistic view of the business, translating complex multi-property data into actionable insights to guide revenue, sales, marketing, distribution, and loyalty strategies, ultimately driving profitability, market share, and brand growth across all Rotana properties.
General Duties And Responsibilities-
Executive-Level Commercial Insights
Consolidate commercial data across all properties and markets into group-wide performance reports.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership for decision-making.
Identify trends, opportunities, and risks impacting the company’s overall revenue, market position, and profitability.
Present high-level dashboards and analysis to support board-level or executive committee discussions.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all commercial reporting.
Strategic Revenue Support
Analyse group-wide revenue performance across all segments and properties.
Support company pricing strategies, group-wide promotions, and distribution policies.
Monitor KPIs such as ADR, RevPAR, TRevPAR, and benchmark KPIs across all properties.
Provide forecasting insights to optimize revenue and profitability at the portfolio level.
Evaluate impact of pricing, packaging, and inventory strategies across all markets.
GSO/GSA Sales Analysis
Analyse sales performance by region, office, segment, and key accounts.
Provide insights to shape company sales strategy and account prioritization.
Measure conversion rates, booking trends, and account contribution across all properties
Support development of corporate sales initiatives, RFP strategy, and group account management.
Identify cross-property and cross-segment opportunities to maximize group revenue.
Marketing & Brand Strategy Analysis
Evaluate marketing campaigns and initiatives across all channels and properties, including digital, brand, and tactical campaigns.
Track KPIs such as ROI, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, and engagement metrics.
Provide insights to guide brand positioning, campaign effectiveness, and marketing investments.
Support loyalty program strategy and member engagement initiatives with data-driven insights.
Distribution & Channel Strategy
Analyse performance of all distribution channels (Brand.com, OTAs, GDS, wholesalers) across properties.
Recommend group-level channel optimization strategies to maximize revenue and reduce distribution costs.
Monitor channel mix, net revenue contribution, and compliance with corporate distribution policies.
Identify opportunities for direct booking growth and margin improvement.
Provide corporate oversight of channel agreements and partnerships.
Loyalty Program Analysis & Strategy
Analyse group-wide loyalty program performance, including member growth, booking contribution, and retention rates.
Segment members to identify high-value and high-potential guest segments.
Provide insights to optimize loyalty campaigns, promotions, and personalized offers across all properties.
Support corporate strategy to enhance guest lifetime value and loyalty penetration.
Forecasting, Budgeting & Strategic Planning
Participate in company-level forecasting and long-term planning processes
Build models and provide insights to support what-if scenarios and strategic decisions.
Analyse performance variances across properties and markets.
Reporting, Analytics, and Systems Oversight
Develop corporate dashboards, automated reports, and analytical models for commercial leadership.
Act as the company subject matter expert on commercial systems (PMS, RMS, CRS, CRM, BI tools).
Ensure timely and accurate data consolidation across all properties.
Provide guidance to property-level teams on reporting standards and data consistency.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Distribution, and Loyalty leadership teams to ensure alignment with company strategy.
Act as a trusted advisor to executives, providing actionable recommendations/ comments rather than just data.
Facilitate cross-functional initiatives and ensure consistent implementation of corporate commercial strategies.
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline is required.
Formal training in data analysis, financial modelling, or strategic planning is an added advantage.
Advanced data analysis, financial modelling, and BI reporting
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and corporate commercial systems
Strong understanding of multi-property revenue management, distribution, and marketing analytics
Knowledge & Competencies
Strategic mindset with ability to influence executive decisions
Strong communication and presentation skills for board/executive reporting
Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Proactive, curious, and able to translate data into strategic insights
