Job Description

A Commercial Account Executive is a strategic role responsible for managing and developing client relationships within a business-to-business (B2B) environment. This position is crucial for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role demands strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of sales processes and strategies. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying potential clients, skilled in negotiating contracts, and adept at building long-lasting partnerships. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to drive sales growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various prospecting methods.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to meet mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to develop strategic sales plans.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management on business opportunities and challenges.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of accounts, prospects, and sales activities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to promote company offerings and network with potential clients.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets set by the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably within a B2B industry, with a proven track record.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Experience using CRM software to manage client relationships and sales activities.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies to meet client needs.
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events as necessary.
